Responsibilities

The Event Manager designs, establishes, and oversees the integrated logistical and administrative support needs of multiple, complex, and wide reaching University and third party events, conferences, and/​or other programs.​ Serves as a primary point of contact for both the client and the service providers.​ Assesses program goals, estimates facility, equipment, logistical, and catering requirements, schedules and runs meetings, develops program budgets, and negotiates and administers service and client contracts.

Qualifications Required

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, with at least 4 years experience planning and managing events.​ Knowledge and understanding of meeting and event planning principles, requirements, procedures, and available resources.​ Highly skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities, and the ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals.​

Salary Range & Benefits: 41,500 - 73,500
